So things heating up in Northern Uganda again. When will there be a "ceasefire"? My gosh 1.6 million people have died as a result of this war and there seems to be no end in sight. My heart bleeds and this country is on a path of economic recovery. So what, the gains will be awash with blood and then cake to the earth? Who will that benefit...no one!!

African countries were affected by the tsunami

While we continue to grieve with the peoples of Asia following that deadly tsunami we must not forget those, though a small number, who died in Africa as a result of the quake that struck the Horn of Africa coastline. An estimated 150 people were killed in Somalia, 10 mostly children died in and at least one died in Kenya.
